On Wednesday, President Trump fired back after Republican Senator-elect and failed Presidential candidate Mitt Romney issued a scathing op-ed condemning Trump’s job since winning the 2016 election.
After taking to Twitter to implore Romney to focus his attention towards increasing border security, Trump later spoke of the issue from the White House during a Cabinet meeting.
Here we go with Mitt Romney, but so fast! Question will be, is he a Flake? I hope not. Would much prefer that Mitt focus on Border Security and so many other things where he can be helpful. I won big, and he didn’t. He should be happy for all Republicans. Be a TEAM player & WIN!

Trump later said, “I wish Romney would be more of a team player,” and speculated that, had Romney fought against his opponent, Barack Obama, when he campaigned for president, “he would have won the election.”
Romney’s critical op-ed drew similar criticism from other Republican lawmakers and conservative pundits, many of who compared his anti-Trump rhetoric to that of Arizona Senators Jeff Flake and the late John McCain.
