NFL Announces Proposed Penalty For Kneeling For Anthem

As reported by DailyCaller

NFL owners are proposing that teams meet in the locker rooms before the anthem in order to decide if they wish to take the field for the song. If they decide to, they will be penalized 15 yards for each player who kneels.

The proposed deliberation and penalties were reported first by Sports Illustrated.

The in-game penalty proposed by NFL owners came during a three-hour session of conversation between owners and family members in Atlanta. The anthem protests led to the most controversial season in recent NFL history, where players and team owners fought with angry fans and the President of the United States over the unpopular protests.

The 15 yard penalty for kneeling was roundly criticized by NFL fans on Twitter.
