As New York City prepares to usher in the New Year, the city’s finest, the NYPD, is pulling out all the stops to keep citizens safe.
Already this year, the city has seen multiple incidents of Islamic terrorism, including a vehicle rampage and an attempted bombing, and with 2018 approaching, the city’s anti-terrorist police force is on high-alert.
The NYPD will have snipers, an elite counter terrorist force, specialized bomb and vapor-sniffing dogs, and other means of security against a possible attack.
