Since the election of President Trump, his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized multiple times by left-wingers.
After the most recent incident, in which 24-year-old Austin Clay destroyed the star with a pickaxe, the West Hollywood City Council voted unanimously to remove the star – however, their decision wasn’t to deter future vandalism, but rather, a cheap shot at Trump.
Citing unfounded “behavior towards women,” as well as immigration policy, the council asked L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the star.
However, Leron Gubler, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, said that “The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark,” adding, “Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Additionally, Mayor Garcetti, who is clearly no fan of President Trump, stated that the efforts were a waste of time, and added that, since the star was a historical landmark, there was nothing he could do.
