President Trump Praises Heroic Doctors and First Responders During Vegas Visit

Today, President Trump visited Las Vegas, in the wake of the rampage that occurred on Sunday, and met with victims and the first responders who risked their lives to save them.

Americans dashed into a hail of bullets to rescue total strangers. Americans defied death and hatred with love and with courage,” said the president.

Trump heaped praise on the first responders and civilians who leapt into action without hesitation, saying, “Every hero saved so many lives, a grateful nation thanks you.”

The President met with wounded victims to comfort them, and said that many of them were hurt while trying to help others who had been injured in the deadly shooting.

President Trump also praised the medical personnel who treated the 527 wounded victims, saying they made him feel proud to be an American, and told Las Vegas Sheriff, Joseph Lombardo, “You showed the world what professionalism is all about. You should be very proud, sheriff.”
