On Tuesday, President Trump took steps to further ensure that our veterans are taken care of when they return from service.
As the president signed a new Executive Order, designed to help support American veterans as they transition back into civilian life, something that has been ignored by previous administrations.
It’s no secret that President Trump has a strong love and admiration for all servicemen and women, going back long before he ever announced his candidacy.
While Obama largely chose to ignore the problem, President Trump is proving that he’s a man of his word, and he’s working hard to make sure our military heroes get the respect and help they deserve.
“We must ensure that our veterans are given the care and support they so richly deserve,” said the president, adding, “That is our unwavering commitment to those who served under the flag of the United States.”
Now, as we enter the second year of Trump’s presidency, American veterans have a renewed hope, as President Trump continues fighting for them.
Today, it was my great honor to sign a new Executive Order to ensure Veterans have the resources they need as they transition back to civilian life. We must ensure that our HEROES are given the care and support they so richly deserve! https://t.co/0MdP9DDIAS pic.twitter.com/LP2a8KCBAp
