Major Chris Thomas says Dixon High School had suspicions that Walker was carrying a weapon as he arrived to school Thursday.

Principal Steven Clarke gestured Walker to the side to search for the weapon – but couldn’t find anything.

He says Clarke then moved Walker into the room closest to them that happened to be a weight room.

Clarke checked Walker’s book bag and Thomas says that’s when Walker rushed the principal and the SRO had to get involved.

Thomas says Walker did swing a weight rack at the principal and five other employees and hit each one but none required medical attention.
